Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
The caregiver should be able to perform all Personal Support Care (aka Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)) designed by the doctor, nurse, or the therapist to assist the client(s) with everyday self-care activities that can be provided in combination with homemaker/companion services like: Providing watchful supervision and oversight during the absence of the caregiver(s) Bathing, washing hair and body applying lotion to the back and body, taking vitals signs, observing the skin changes & skincare, reporting changes in client’s condition, cutting toenails (non-diabetic), general skin care, assist with dressing or grooming, assists with mobility and ambulation.
