Caregiver for AFH setting

JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing primary care for residents of the My Father’s House AFH LLC Adult family home. The work is to be performed in a manner consistent with Washington State Administrative Codes requirements for caregivers, My Father’s House AFH LLC employee policies, procedures, and guidelines. The objective is to provide high quality care to all residents, including all aspects of physical and mental well being, self-worth, and privacy, in order to create and maintain a positive experience for each resident. This position is accountable for providing adult family home care for up to six individuals with varying care needs. The position requires skills on caregiving, organization, verbal communications and coordination, cooking and housekeeping. The position requires the ability to follow procedures. The position requires independent judgment. The incumbent shall demonstrate a high level of personal hygiene. The position is responsible for all aspects of resident safety, including response to emergency conditions. The incumbent will be required to deal with many ambiguous situations, since all ramifications of resident care are never completely predictable.
