Direct Care Staff

Direct Care Workers are responsible for assisting resident's with all activities of daily living. Including: bathing incontinence care grooming assistance with ambulation and transfers. Cooking and cleaning Medication management/administration Charting on Electronic medical records system Resident activities Must possess compassion for caring for others, be dependable, have good communication skills, possess good critical thinking skills, be self-motivated, and be able to prioritize work assignment. Must have high school diploma or GED Must be able to pass Michigan finger printing background check Current CPR & First aid Current TB skin test Pre-employment physical
