Home Care Aide (HCA) Job Description
As a Personal Care Attendant for Optima Home Services LLC, you will be working for the Agency's clients in their residence. Duties include: - Assist with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living). Involves assistance with shower, bath, dressing/grooming, oral care, hair care, skin care and toileting. - Assistance with mobility and transfer, including use of walkers, canes, and/or wheelchairs. - Medication reminder and assistance with SELF-administration of medication - Assistance with light house keeping. This includes services such as vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping, cleaning, laundry, and bed making. - Assistance with meal planning, preparation and feeding - Assistance with transportation and errand - Providing Companionship - Recording and reporting any/all changes to the client's physical, mental or health condition to the supervisor -Documenting services provided using the agency approved EVV and ensuring that visits are verified by the client. Documentation is done at the time visit is made and the client verification is mandatory. -Keeping in constant communication with the Agency. Experience would be preferable but NOT required!!! Will need reliable transportation.
