Continuing education via annual nursing In-services Very user friendly electronic charting done on company provided tablets Opportunity to work with both adult and pediatric patients Routine yet Flexible Scheduling One-on-one experience with patients Competitive Wages & Benefits Vacation time Duties: The duties of a home health aide include: the provision of hands-on personal care, the performance of simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services, assistance in ambulation or exercises that are outlined in a RN-directed home health aide care plan. Maintaining records of personal health care activities. Maintain patient care areas in a clean, safe environment, adequate for the provision of care. Follow and document assignments in accordance with the home health aide care plan. Transfer patients in a safe manner, in accordance with standards of care. Home health aides are members of the interdisciplinary team. The home health aides must report changes in the patient’s condition to a RN or other appropriate skilled professional. Electronically document care given on each visit/shift. Call any shift time changes to the office. Employees must be able to pass a fit-to-work physical exam including the essential functions including the ability to bend, lift 50 pounds, push, pull, walk, stand, climb stairs, full range of motion of all extremities, and able to get up and down off of the floor.
