Immediate opening for a bilingual (Spanish Speaking) _caregiver

We are looking for a Caregiver to work in Hutington Beach. To help care for a male senior who needs someone to help assist him into the shower, getting him up to walk. Take him to doctors' appointments, run a few errands on a daily basis. We will hire 2 caregivers to fill shifts from 12:00pm - 8:00pm. 7 days a week. we can rotate on a 7-day schedule between 2 caregivers, or we will hire a fulltime caregiver for Mon - Fri and a weekend caregiver. Caregiver HCA/CNA/HHA Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Companionship and conversation • Transportation (errands, grocery shopping, appointments) • Light housekeeping and meal preparation • Medication reminders • Activities of daily living as needed (Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation assistance) • Dementia care Caregiver HCA/CNA/HHA Requirements: • Compassion for others and the ability to treat and care for seniors with dignity and respect! • Desire to truly communicate and connect with your client! • Completion of a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen • Valid driver’s license and car insurance We will have a variety of shifts available (days, evenings, nights, weekends) in Seal Beach, Cypress, Hawaiian Gardens, Los Alamitos, Rossmore, Garden Grove, and Long Beach areas. Experience preferred, but not necessary – ongoing training, including specialized Dementia “Senior Gems” program, Parkinson’s training, and ADLs is all provided to meet the needs of our clients by Senior Helpers!
