Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing clients, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, walking assistance, and recreational activities. Take clients to their appointments, the grocery store, and other important places. Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment. * Depending on the level of care needed, caregivers may require specialized skills, such as: Ability to understand social, emotional and/or mental health concerns for patients. Ability to provide Alzheimer’s or dementia care. Ability to provide hospice care.
