Part Time Position (Possible FT) for AFH w/Younger Residents

My Adult Family Home has younger residents with Mental Health and/or Developmental Disabilities. They do not have any assault or violent history. The goal is to be the support system that can enhance their quality of life. Community integration is a major goal for each resident. At this time I only have 2 residents but will be looking for more once I fill this position. This caregiving position is a little different than most with the ADLs being very minimal. Other than cooking, med assistance, light house cleaning, the majority of the job duties come in interacting with the residents. A positive attitude during conversations and activities are a must. This job is ideal for a student doing online work because there is significant downtime. The starting salary varies based on experience. Please note that while the shifts are 24hr, the caregiver does not need to stay awake that entire time. For the right type of person with a positive attitude, this could be the absolute perfect job. It is very fulfilling knowing that you are making an actual difference in someone's life. THANKS!!
