Home Health Aide (HHA) Job Description
The Home Health Aide is a qualified person who provides personal care services to a person in the home setting. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Current CPR Card Must have a certificate or documented evidence of successful completion of at least 40 hours training from a public vocational technical school or a non-public post secondary career school licensed by the Commission on Independent Education in Florida. A Home Health Aide who completed training in another state must provide a certificate from a public vocational technical school or a non-public post secondary career school licensed in that state. HIV Training and Alzheimer's Training Must provide a Health Statement from a Licensed Medical professional Must have the ability to communicate with patients and staff.
