Charge Nurse

Ensures that the quality of direct care is provided according to established policies and standards. Interprets and implements physician's orders for care. Evaluates the residents' behavior and assesses their abilities in relation to their physical and developmental needs, and checks these evaluations with the assessments made by other personnel. Studies the group structure and its impact upon behavior and physical care. Observes and evaluates interpersonal relationships among residents and employees. Reviews information from other disciplines. Any other duties assigned. Staff must either be vaccinated or apply for an exemption.
