License Practical Nurse (LPN) Whitestone Queens

Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Homecare Services Location: Whitestone, Queens, NY Job Type: Part-time, Per Diem Hourly Pay Rate: $34.00 - $38.00 (depending on experience and qualifications) Job Summary: Humancare Home Healthcare is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse/s (LPN's) to provide high-quality homecare services to patients in Whitestone, Queens NYC. The LPN will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare provider to deliver personalized care and support to patients in their homes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments and record symptoms, reactions, and progress. Administer medications as prescribed by the treating physician. Assist in rehabilitation and follow the physician's established plan of treatment. Provide basic life support (BLS) and CPR as needed. Educate patients and their families on healthcare practices and disease prevention. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations for homecare services. Requirements: Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program. Current licensure and registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State. Current American Heart Association BLS certification. Strong patient assessment skills and demonstrated clinical competency. Knowledge of principles of infection control and performance improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
