LPN or Experienced Medication Aide for small RCF

We are a small residential care facility looking for a LPN, certified nursing assistant, certified medication assistant or someone who has experience passing meds in a long term care, assisted living or other health care setting. We are looking for someone who enjoys the night shift position and is wanting to work this position long term. Duties include, but aren't limited to: - Follow all company policies and procedures - Complete report with day shift med-aid - Review change of condition and alert charting - Pass medications to residents - Count narcotics - Check Point Click Care for any alerts, MUST BE ABLE TO USE A COMPUTER - Assist caregivers as needed (act as 2nd caregiver on Noc shift) - Answer duplicate calls - Go through inventory to remove expired meds and supplies - Check refrigerator temperatures and document - Weekly check glucometer specifications and document - Sanitize desks, med carts, cupboards and all surfaces - Restock med carts - Order and/or reorder any medications that need to be refilled - Document incidents - Complete any unfinished physician's orders, or new orders that come in during your shift - Prepare paperwork for next day doctor's appointments - Complete any lab work documents needed and/or collect specimens - Follow up on any task left by the previous med-aid
