Job Description Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Afternoon Shifts Available! Baylor Program Shifts Available! The Grove at Washington is seeking to add a caring and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to be part of our team and join a dynamic nursing staff! The purpose of this role is to provide direct nursing care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of the residents’ attending physicians, the Director of Nursing, and the Medical Director of the facility. They will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of non-licensed personnel. You will also assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychological need of the resident, in accordance with established medical practices and the requirements of the policies and procedures of this facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility. Job Responsibilities: Providing direct nursing care to the residents and to supervise the day to day activities performed by other members of the nursing staff in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility and as may be directed by the Director of Nursing, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. While in "charge" capacity are expected to exercise supervisory authority even at times when the RNs are on duty. Exercise discretion and independent judgment to ensure proper discipline and productivity. Education and Qualifications: Must possess a nursing diploma from an approved LPN program and a current, active license and be in good standing from the PA State Board of Nursing.
