About the position: The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include following the plan of care, providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes. A licensed vocational nurse shall perform duties consistent with the Vocational Nursing Practice Act. A licensed vocational nurse shall meet qualifications established by the home health agency for the services provided and any additional qualifications required by home health agency licensure regulations. This is NOT a remote position Positions Available: 4 Schedule: Part-Time 32 ( 24 RVEs p/week) benefits available OR Part Time 24 (18 RVEs p/week) * Non-traditional schedules are available, i.e., Thursday-Monday Locations: Area #1 covers the following cities: Castro Valley, San Leandro, Alameda, Hayward, San Lorenzo, Newark, Union City, Sunol, Fremont - Part-Time 32 ( 24 RVEs p/week) benefits available OR Per Diem (6 RVEs p/week) OR Area #2 cover the following cities: Oakland, Alameda, Emeryville, Piedmont, Berkeley, Albany and Kensington - Per Diem (6 RVEs p/week) OR Area #4 cover the following cities: San Ramon, Danville, Alamo, Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, Plesant Hill, Concord and Martinez - Part-Time 24 (18 RVEs p/week) OR Per Diem (6 RVEs p/week) OR Area #5 covers the following cities: Pittsburgh, Discovery Bay, Antioch, Brentwood, Oakley, Bethal Island, Bay Point - Part-Time 24 (18 RVEs p/week) AND Area #6 covers the following cities: Vacaville, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Vista, Suisun City, Dixon - Part-Time 32 ( 24 RVEs p/week) benefits available OR Per Diem (6 RVEs p/week) OR Area #8 covers the following cities: Richmond, San Pablo, El Cerrito, El Sobrante, Pinole, Rodeo, Hercules and Crocket - Per Diem (6 RVEs p/week) Minimum Required Qualifications: • Minimum one year of LVN experience • Must possess a CA License with IV/Blood Withdrawal Certification • Reliable Transportation and auto insurance • CPR Certification Desired: Some advanced college course work or AA degree Advanced computer system knowledge
