Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Job Description
nurses will be providing patient care services at a patient’s home. Through their great clinical and teaching skills, they will allow patients to heal in the luxury of their own home. Through the process, our nurses continuously grow by learning exciting new clinical skills, and also enjoy the freedom of managing their own visits. Qualifications Required: · Current California LVN/LPN license · Able to travel to prospective patient’s place of residence · Able to stoop and bend; must be able to lift and transfer patients Desired: · Experience with a public health, home care, home health care, or hospital background · Ability to demonstrate communication, presentation, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills · Bilingual Your Day to Day Activities The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides clinical care to patients’ in their home. Their duties include: · Ensures quality and safe delivery of home health care services. · Collaborates with physicians, other agency staff and contract services to coordinate and implement the Plan of Care · Promotes education for clients, client families, and the community. · Completes all required documentation in accordance with the standards of the agency, and regulatory requirements.
