Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Job Description
We are seeking a trustworthy caregiver that will care for our clients with professionalism and compassion wherever the clients call home. The caregiver will be responsible for implementing our clients’ daily care plan in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with agency policies and industry standards. Responsibilities ● Provide companionship including social interactions, emotional reassurance, and initiate activities that stimulate the mind. ● Perform/assist with essential shopping/errands ● Transporting or escorting the client to medical and other appointments. ● Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs. ● Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.) ● Assist clients with personal care and hygiene ● Implementing the care plan as instructed ● Complete and maintain records of daily activities, observations, and direct hours of service.
