Registered Nurse to care for our hospice patients in the comfort of their homes or in care facilities located throughout our 8-county service area. Outstanding communication skills (observation, verbal, and written), the ability to multitask effectively, and keen attention to detail are a must. Individuals who understand the hospice philosophy and issues of death and dying are encouraged to apply!
Job Duties:
• Communicate with families, clients, and other hospice staff
• Assume responsibility and accountability for the practice of professional nursing in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and standards for home health nursing
• Practice nursing with respect for individual, cultural, and spiritual difference
Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Iowa
At least 1 year of experience in long-term care, oncology or home health
Current CPR certification
Driver’s License with proof of automobile insurance
Compensation
$33 - $35/ hour
