Restorative Nurse

Schedule: Monday through Friday Day Shift Wage Rate: $36.00 per hour Qualifications: Colorado state RN license or compact license; Long-term care experience is very helpful, but is not essential; Restorative/rehab nursing experience is a plus, though not required; all candidates will be given prompt and attentive consideration. Duties: The Restorative Nurse will contribute to the Home's mission, promoting each individual resident's highest practicable level of functioning, independence, self-determination, and personal fulfillment by... Supporting and promoting the Little Sisters' philosophy of restorative care throughout the Home; Assessing each resident regularly for restorative potential and restorative care needs, and accomplishing related documentation; Developing and implementing individualized restorative care plans and overseeing follow-through on restorative interventions; Coordinating restorative care services both in the gym and in the residents' living areas; Teaching restorative care concepts and techniques to the staff, and serving as their cheerleader in the practice of restorative care; Coordinating the provision of medical services related to residents' restorative care needs; Serving as a liaison between the skilled therapists and all other departments; Assuming responsibility for all things restorative, including but not limited to--exercise and ambulation programs; restorative dining; positioning, mobility, and transfer devices; adaptive equipment and enablers of various kinds; cognitive strengthening... ***Don't have this knowledge and skill set?
