Director of Nursing

The qualified candidate will be a RN with license to work in Georgia and having a minimum of 4 years supervisory experience. A great attitude is a MUST and you should have a desire to make a difference in the lives of elders in our home. You will be in charge of the daily activities of the entire nursing department and must be able to handle: hiring, training, discipline, and scheduling of the nursing staff to ensure smooth facility operations. The ability to interface with other department heads to work toward facility wide goals is essential. In addition to the basic duties, the DON will also serve as a member of the QAPI committee and the Infection Control team at the facility. Flexibility is a MUST, as this position often involves being able to pivot to ensure that shifts are covered and that the operational necessities of the home are met. Basic nursing skills are required, however, the attitude with which the work is done is of utmost importance.
