SOC Registered Nurse ($40-$45 an hour) Job Description UniversaCare is seeking to hire SOC Registered Nurses Position: Per-diem Hours: Flexible Hours, Evenings & Weekends Start Date: Immediately As a SOC RN, you will experience a special energy and excitement from your work as you join a team of individuals who are committed to improving the lives of others. You will work in a growing, specialized area of the nursing field outside the walls of a hospital setting. Job Responsibilities Take care of patients and allow them to recover in the comfort of their own home Assess patient needs and develop a plan of care Supervise Home Health Aide care Skillfully providing one-on-one nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment. Asses the patient’s condition and response to therapy, acting as needed to facilitate achievement of treatment goals. Establishing trust and building therapeutically effective relationships with our clients and their families. Required Qualifications: Active and unrestricted registered nurse with current license in state of NY Two years of experience, home care experience preferred Possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance/registration Have and maintain current CPR / BLS certification Knowledge of HIPAA patient privacy and data security requirements; OSHA employee protection regulations Hold current Malpractice Insurance Have experience with Microsoft Office to document and track patient care activity About Us: Founded in 2008, UniversaCare is a fully licensed and growing Home Care Agency serving the NY Metropolitan area and is continually expanding throughout the Northeast.
