DESCRIPTION Position Title: Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Home Care Company: PPE Homecare Location: Gwinnett/Watkinsville/Jackson County Areas Overview: PPE Home Care is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a part-time basis in the the listed surrounding GA area. Dedicated to providing compassionate care to individuals in their homes, PPE Home Care offers a supportive and enriching work environment. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in conducting field supervisory visits, performing medical assessments for new clients, and providing caregiver in-service training as needed. Responsibilities: Field Supervisory Visits: Conduct regular visits to clients' homes to ensure the quality of care provided by caregivers meets company standards. Evaluate caregiver performance and provide constructive feedback and support as necessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals involved in the clients' care to ensure continuity and quality of services. Perform general medical assessments for new clients to determine their healthcare needs and develop personalized care plans. Communicate assessment findings and care plans effectively with the interdisciplinary team, including caregivers, clients, and their families. Develop and conduct in-service training sessions for caregivers to enhance their skills and knowledge in providing high-quality care. Stay updated on best practices, industry standards, and regulations related to home health care, and incorporate them into training programs. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client assessments, supervisory visits, and training sessions. Generate reports as required by regulatory agencies and company policies. Qualifications: Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Georgia. Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to develop individualized care plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in computer skills, including electronic medical records systems. Current CPR/1st Aid certification
