Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
North Carolina Registered Nurse Needed For Case Management/Assessments and Supervisory Visits. Registered Nurse needed for Home Health Care Agency. Type: Part-Time. Shift: Office Hours and On-Call Patient Assessments. Requirements: Must have at least 1-year of experience. Must have a current TB skin test. Must have current CPR. Must have a valid ID. Must have social security card. Must be listed on NC Board of Nursing or Multistate. Job Description: Meeting with clients in-home or in facilities for assessments and periodic monitoring. Creating assessments to identify patient needs and to create appropriate plans of care. Filling out paperwork in the office. Performing home care visits, assessments, coordinating care, and follow-up. Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to primary care physicians, and administration. Following up with, executing, and properly documenting medical and non-medical orders. Collaborate with the administration team to provide field staff evaluation and development. Occasionally participate in orientation of field staff. Some documentation review. In addition to excellent written/verbal communication, the candidate must possess problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Qualifications: Prior home care experience is strongly recommended, but not required. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Ability to manage and mentor staff. Strong interpersonal skills. Solid computer skills. Ability to travel to cases as assigned within the Wake County area.
