Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
Broadway Western NY is seeking a Per-Diem Field Registered Nurse to conduct assessments, re-assessments, and supervisions for our patients and paraprofessionals.
Nurse Responsibilities:
Conduct the admission of the client and monitor the provision of care, as well as changing care needs by:
Participating in care plan development in collaboration with the physician, payer care manager, the client, and caregivers.
Orienting the aide to the plan of care and ensuring the aide is competent to participate in the care tasks assigned.
Evaluating the home setting for safety and appropriateness related to the care needs identified.
Supervising the provision of care by paraprofessional staff in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
Attending in-services or training as needed.
Nurse Qualifications:
You have a valid RN license.
You are proficient on a laptop/tablet; or any device necessary to complete the visits.
You have a reliable vehicle.
You can move around Buffalo and the surrounding areas.
Nurse Schedule:
Must be able to work weekdays during business hours (Mon-Thurs 9 am - 5 pm and Fri 9 am - 1 pm).
Occasional weekend hours are required.
Job Type: Per Diem, potential to become Part Time or Full Time.
Pay per visit: $130/Assessment, $80/Re-Assessment, $50/Aide Supervision, Travel Reimbursement
