Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description

The job includes, OASIS assessments, wound care/wound vac, medication management, patient education, and ostomy/catheter care. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills, be autonomous, and able to collaborate, demonstrating interdisciplinarity . We are certified in Kootenai, Bonner, and Boundary counties. Traveling to the patient's home to provide care is a requirement, and territories for each clinician are negotiable with all area's available. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive patient care, including catheterization, IV insertion, and tube feeding as needed. Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR). Administer basic life support and airway management in emergency situations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and families on health management and community resources. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain a safe environment for patients. Qualifications Valid nursing license and relevant certifications Proficient in patient care, assessment, and catheterization Experience with EHR systems such as Epic and Cerner Knowledge of physiology and basic life support techniques Skilled in IV insertion, tube feeding, and airway management Familiarity with home and community care settings, including long-term care and assisted living
