Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
Under the direct clinical supervision of the Nurse Manager/Medical Director will serve as the nursing support to provide nursing services for individuals receiving services at the CCBHC. RN must have at least 4 years of documented experience working with adults with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness. RN will be responsible for working with the team to monitor each individual’s physical health, clinical status and response to treatment. RN will provide necessary nursing care, health evaluation/reevaluation, and medication administration and will make referrals as medically necessary to psychiatric and other medical services. Will be knowledgeable about and actively support culturally competent recovery based practices, person centered planning as a shared decision making process with the individual, who defines his/her life goals and is assisted in developing a unique path toward those goals, and a trauma informed culture of safety to aid consumers in their recovery.
