Abbotts Creek Center

Center was clean, staff was pleasant and helpful. It was a new check-in system for me, but managed it. Had not been there in a long time, so needed staff to direct me to the right location. All went well.

First visit was great! Everyone friendly and helpful and the facility was very well kept.

I went to visit a Friend, as I entered. I felt a sense of peacefulness and ease. It was very quiet and dinner was being served, and patients were being checked on. Overall A very good experience and a very pleasant visit, especially compared to some of the others I have gone to. The staff was friendly and courteous. J. York 10/13/2024

My elderly neighbor is there. She had a stroke. She wasn't fed on time at first and she would pull her plate on herself. They would leave patients on hard bed pans and leave the room 20 minutes or more. Her legs were scabby. She only got a bath every 3 days when hospice came. I brought cream with shae butter and tea tree oil and powder i bought from Amazon. She is getting bed sores, were they dont rotate her every 2 hours. I had closed it up with the powder. I was banned for helping her. Even though she wanted it and her daughter was using the oil on her hair. This is the same products she used at home and had been using for 5 months since she has been there. They said it would interfere with her medication. She doesn't take any medication. Except maybe a tylenol they give her for pain if she needs it. They kicked me out for that. I called Raleigh and reported them. A lady helped me by going over the power of attorneys head to get me back in there. At the meeting, I stated she wasn't being taken care of. The lady told me she was offended. I didnt say anything else about that because i have pictures and videos that says other wise. At the end i was mad, she told me to just comfort my friend, until she is no longer here. Who says something like that. She is not even dying. I said are we done. I had to leave after that one. I went and seen my friend, she was happy the first 2 days I came back but then she started getting sad again. I tried to comfort her . Maybe it was due to the man down the hall yelling help and other things. I recorded the hall way so you could hear and I did post it on Facebook. I got banned again. They said im not supposed to be taping. I didnt see a sign saying that. I am not a resident or a employee. I have the right to say what I feel when the lady I love or other patients have these situations. I started posting it cause when i ask them to do something or help her in some way. I get ignored cause im not power of attorney. Well she is never there. The patient also wants these things. If someone pays you thier money or their family pays you. They should be able to get help. Ive watched patients lay in there feces till someone came. This is in humane. Nobody should treat anyone like that. This is on day shift. I love my neighbor so much,i go more than her family has. She has no say so on anything involving her life. Everyone is treating her like she doesn't matter. She can move her arm but because her daughter want change her hospice insurance she can't really get help. She has been there 7 months. She only gets wash ups. She might would like a shower or her hair washed. She is scratching her head so much cause it's scabs on it and it's making blood stains on her pillow. Wash her hair, It itchs. She was put in a chair one day and left in it all day. She is a human her name is Surena, she is the mother of her church. I love her, i promised i would never leave her and be her voice. Now they are making me break that promise. Can someone help us.Everyone wants me to go away because I'm causing problems. I love her and I just want her treated like a human being. Put her in a chair sometimes and push her around. Get her out of that bed. We cry and pray together that someone will hear us. I will stop posting and I will stop healing her if you would treat her like she deserves. I'm thinking of calling the news cause i can't give up. I want give up on her.

As part of a quarterly visit by the Davidson County CommunityAdvisory Committee , it was a joy to meet staff and visit with the residents. All of the residents we spoke with were content and felt the staff care about there well being. Continue the excellent care. Elated to know you are moving ahead to meet the nursing hours required by federal law.
