This is, by far, the best Skilled Nursing Facility in the area and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone..My Dad has received the most personalized care while there. I cannot get over how clean it is, the floors are always sparkling! All of the staff have gone above and beyond to make sure that his needs and wants are met. The entire building runs like a well oiled machine with all departments working together. Karla Sanford, the director of nursing, has assembled a fantastic staff. One nurse in particular, Kristian Crist, has repeatedly gone out of her way to make sure our family is aware of any change with my Dads condition. I will forever be grateful for the kindness and compassion that they all have shown.
I don't care for the new paint job. It looks like pewter gray paint upper half. But, my friend is very satisfied with her care from the staff. She said they seem to be suited to their job and care for the residents.
Everyone and thing was great. Our friend was playing Bingo when we first went. It was good to see him enjoying himself!
What an amazing way to help ensure the well-being and safety of the residents at the Ansted Center. I even got some good hugs from a sweet resident there during check-in. ❤️.
My mother was discharged from the hospital after severe illness. Sent here for physical therapy and rehab. We were instantly displeased with the CNA response time, (but I don't put the blame on them, because they are very understaffed when it comes to CNA's. They could use twice what they have, while the NURSING staff is at capacity) when the light was activated for mom needing help to get to the bathroom. Most of the time it took so long for someone to even pop their head into the room to ask what Mom needed, that it was too late to avoid an accident, which upset her greatly. She also experienced difficulty with one CNA in particular. After 2-3 weeks of this, she called me on a Sunday, and said she was "tired of this place" and wanted to go home. We went to get her, and were met with a disapproving staff, saying we were taking her out against medical advice, and they would be contacting APS if we took her. We have arranged for in-home therapy, and even though caring for her needs on our own is hard, we are all happier now.
