Bourbonnais Terrace

This place is alright for a short stay but stay longer than three months the employees make everyone miserable when their also miserable. You're not allowed to be HAPPY here or overly HAPPY. There's a councilor name Bryan that I had an issue with because he kept mentioning my husband. The residents are alright for the most part. The staff can and will be jealous of you. Some of the nurses are weird. I never seen the higher ups come out of their office until, it was said, I was dancing in the hallway because my husband called to pick me up. The food is alright when you have nothing else to eat and is starving.

Very kind and caring staff to name a few Debbie in kitchen and Rpa Nyeth, Katrina R.N. All nurses are good!!! Lisa Hutchinson.

Bourbonnais terrace is an amazing place! Filled with people who love to work by making a difference for the residents! People who love to help others and truly have empathy. What a happy positive environment to be at!

So I left the AMA because I did not like the level system at all you guys never moved my level and I was an adult and should have had all the freedoms any other adult would have but I was locked up and got attitude quite often! The majority of the staff here was just awful you guys lied to me about getting me out on my own when I have that feeling that it was never even a plan to get me out of there I ended up having to go to an actual rehab facility to get me my own place. I have to say there was more freedom in the rehab facility than there was in this nursing home. I want to give a shout out to Indiana center for recovery for helping me with a lot that Bourbonnais terrace was incompetence of doing. Every time I drive past I can see some of the residents and I can see the depression in their faces. You guys don't give people freedom and of course that's going to make somebody depressed especially an adult. I am happy to say I am on my own now with no help whatsoever...

Thank you to all the staff, the Administrator, Director of nursing, nursing, prsa's, department heads, activities, housekeeping, dietary, maintenance, and social services. You make a difference.
