Finding placement for a loved one can feel overwhelming, but Olivia makes it easy. She’s responsive, warm, and always ready with clear answers. I couldn’t have asked for better support. Thank you, Olivia!
I traveled from Kansas to see my Mom today (Aug 13, 2022). Wow! This place is scary. I’m a Retired Veteran who’s seen some pretty scary places, and this is now one of them. After walking down the hallway, my stomach sank, realizing my Mom has been here for just a week, and I want to remove her immediately. After talking with her, she’s telling me how rude, most of the staff members are. My Mom can be dramatic most times, but after reading the other reviews, I have a strong feeling she’s no being dramatic. Fortunately, she doesn’t have much longer to be here, thank goodness! It’s extremely frustrating and sad knowing how this experience has tainted her experience with this, because I know she’s not far from being a permanent resident in one of these places. Now after visiting here, I will try my best to not allow her to come back here. We have to do better treating our elders. Sincerely Disappointed Son
I honestly wish I could rate this place in the negative. I don't understand how it's even still open. My dad was there..he was always left in a dirty diaper. He had a bed sore and was never turned or out of bed unless he was going to the hospital or moved to a different room. The hospital put him on a nectar diet and they were feeding him fried chicken. He was a choke hazard. I blame his POA on that part as well. But the rest of the family had to bring in protein shakes and pudding just so he could have something he could eat. His room was always gross. He didn't even have a sheet under him. The smell will overwhelm you. Patients escape, once involved the police. I'm saving my pictures for the state inspection board as we are reporting and suing. I guess my dad finally got his wish to get out of there...he died. Also I forgot to add, they sell cigarettes individually to the patients as they announce it, then announce smoke breaks. I've never heard anything like this before. I tried calling and talking to the director and he blew me off. So I have no other options but to report this to the state board. And don't even get me started on how they get patients water.. it's so gross that it has to be illegal for them to do.
I had to move my brother because of neglect. He has severe diabetes and kidney failure because of the lack of care he received here and poor diet. How do you give a diabetic chocolate creme filled cookies?
I need to give a well deserved shout out to Olivia in Admissions at Arc. She is hard-working, knows her stuff, and goes the extra mile. I recently had my Dad and stepmother admitted (at the same time) and while I want to thank all the staff involved to make that happen- it was largely due to the hard work and committment of Olivia to get it done. On top of that, she called me personally to follow-up on their condition; if that isn't first rate resident service I don't know what is. It is people like her that make the organization better- keep going Olivia!
