If I could give this place zero stars I would! The CNAs on night shift do not properly care for the people here! They allow the residents to lay in urine and poop all hours of the night. When speaking to management about this I was informed that in certain parts of this facility it is BEST to not wake people until about 2 hours before shift change! I WOULD NOT recommend anyone placing loved ones here!

My grandmother is a resident there. She is well taken care of and she loves all the staff. I am notified of everything. Staff has made a point to make sure she’s happy and healthy and I know what goes on with her, especially with me living so far away. I have worked at LTC facilities across the country and this is one of the best facilities in Northern Nevada.

Mountain View Health and Rehab Center in Carson City, NV is a hidden gem that deserves to be shared with the world. Despite its older age, the facility shines with impeccable cleanliness and exceptional care for patients, treating them and their loved ones like family. The dedicated staff sets a remarkable example for other facilities in the area, showcasing how a healthcare facility should be run. After experiencing subpar care at various brain injury facilities across the country, I made the decision to bring my husband home for his rehabilitation. Finding Mountain View Health and Rehab Center has been a true blessing for his ongoing recovery. The staff here operates with such professionalism and compassion that they deserve more recognition and appreciation. Every employee, from nurses and therapists to CNAs and receptionists, demonstrates a genuine passion for their work, making it an inspiring environment. I am immensely grateful to my husband's care team, especially Amy, Nancy, Nurse Kendall, Nurse Shannon, Isabella, Steve (activities coordinator), and all the dedicated staff at station 2. Their dedication gives me hope that my husband will recover. I cannot thank Mountain View Health and Rehab Center enough for the exceptional care they provide. If you are seeking a place where your loved one will not only receive top-notch care but also be treated like family, look no further. Mountain View Health and Rehab Center has been a beacon of hope and support for us during this challenging time. It took a long time to find my husband a facility in the area as there aren’t any that cater to brain injuries. He kept getting patient dumped from other facilities. We found Mountain View Health and Rehabilitation Center and I am forever grateful to them and being there not only for my Husband but for all his loved ones too! Thank you again to the entire team ant Mountain View Health and Rehabilitation Center especially for Amy and Nancy to make sure his care plan is in place and my husband is set up for success with his injury. I am Forever grateful to be able to have my husband close to home and it is all thanks to Mountain View Health and Rehabilitation. It makes me so happy seeing my husband so happy and thriving under your care. 🙏🏼♥️🫶🏻

I am truly grateful for all the staff at Mountain View Health and Rehab. My mother was here on hospice and in her last few days, the staff couldn’t be more thoughtful and caring. They went to great lengths to make her comfortable and feel secure in her environment. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for placement and great care for their family members.
