Reviews
For anyone that should know it won the best nursing home in concord. But Maybe it should see the reviews and the ratings lol. I think it should have won the worst nursing in concord in 2025. They are the worst nursing home in concord I wouldn't even send my cats there.
From the moment I arrived at Pleasant View, I was warmly greeted by the receptionist, which immediately made me feel comfortable and welcome. Within just a few minutes, I was being assisted, and everything felt organized and efficient. As I waited, I noticed residents chatting with staff and family in the hallway, while others enjoyed the sunshine outside. Sarah, another member of the staff, passed by with a friendly smile, adding to the light, cheerful energy that filled the space. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful, and it felt like a place where people are genuinely cared for. Pleasant View left me with a truly positive impression.
DO NOT send your loved ones here. This facility is constantly so short staffed that the residents are suffering & the owners of this place DO NOT CARE. I’ve witnessed residents crying because they are not getting the care they deserve. On top of all of that, this place is disgustingly filthy. These residents don’t deserve to live in these conditions and they definitely don’t deserve inadequate care because the owners of this place don’t want to pay staff. It is so heartbreaking. I feel like this place needs to be investigated. If you can, PLEASE send your loved ones elsewhere.
Sarah went above and beyond to help me get my brother admitted. I tried several other facilities only to be told there was no room. Although Pleasant View has some issues with housekeeping and cleanliness, they seem to do their best with ongoing staffing issues. As a result, there is a constant urine odor and the floors are sometimes sticky. My brother is not bedridden and much of what he needs he can handle on his own. I'd like to see a higher level of cleanliness but overall my brother is being well cared for which is important.
I have known Sarah Varney for nearly a year when my wife, Gail Dupuis-Natt first arrived at Pleasant View Center. Upon our first meeting I was quickly put at ease by Sarah's warm personality and professional demeanor. I was quite relieved as I found her to be the exception among those of similar standing at other facilities I had visited when seeking the best placement for Gail. In addiition, Sarah has been quick to respond to my suggestions and requests with regards to my wife's care. Further, I have felt comfortable in bringing her concerns I may have had. In closing, I consider Sarah Varney to be a highly effective professional and I have been quite satisfied with Gail's care under her supervision. Thank you. Gregory Natt
