My Dad had the utmost compassionate care here. The staff treated him like their family. They noticed little things that mattered, quickly got to know his personality and what made him happy, or not so happy. They cheered him on when he made progress and held his hand and comforted him when he became agitated or fearful. They didn’t let him sulk when he was sad and pushed him to engage with other residents. If he couldn’t be at home, I could rest easy that he was well cared for here. Thank you!! Now that Dad has passed, we miss so many of you.

Don’t understand what’s the point of you handing out my family member a MENU when no one bothers to help him. Rude CNAS, why does it take 30 minutes to answer a call light when you are standing there?! Administration has not been helpful. The food has been excellent except at times at night. I do not see activities around at ALL.

Great meals, my mother enjoyed the meal today and always boasting how great they are. Only concerns are that her call light is always being left unanswered at times during the day when she wanted to use the bathroom. Hoping you guys also do more activites with them.

My dad has been residing at Delavan Health Services for more than several years now. I appreciate all their caregivers and the cook in the kitchen is very nice. Great food and service. Only concern would be therapy.

We have had nothing but trouble with Delavan House service. Now please understand they have a very good nursing staff but they are very short-handed. They have a major theft issue going on and they really don't seem to care about it. You only have one small drawer to put things in and lock up. The office staff seems to be helpful, but when you go to ask them questions or get help all you get is (That's not my Job or they refuse to send you in the right directions or they make it out to be your responsibility to do ) they don't want to do there jobs! The physical therapy department want the Family members to do most of their work. I'm sorry but the family members are in there care, under there roof. We are Not licensed therapists and should not be touching them for insurance purposes plus we the Family can not be driving there 2 to 4 times a day to do there job! For their billing department you need to keep an eye on it. For some reason their main office likes to double and triple charge. We had to bring the county in to go through billing! For their food to their residence is always the cheapest food that they could provide them so they can save money, plus it's not very appetizing!! I'm just letting you know what we have seen and dealt with. Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android
