My friend was there for rehab and because of the attentiveness of the staff and their fast response starting cpr, he is fully recovered! Highly recommend this facility. Sarah in social work is phenomenal, Sandrese is fantastic, and Brooke and Krystal in admissions is wonderful!
Don't go by most of these reviews on here. Most of these positive reviews are from workers or their relatives. The real reviews are on Medicare.Gov website. First of all the short term section in the 600 hall has a 16 patient ratio for ONE nurse! THAT ISN'T OK! That means u won't get good patient care! Their food is terrible as well but their physical therapy is great. I only sent my dad here cuz he needed a place where they do dyalisis in the building and once he no longer needed Dyalisis he wanted out of there so bad but the problem is most of these places won't take someone from another nursing home they will only take hospital patients! Also these girls in the short term section are always sitting at the desk on their phones and call lights are on. My dad was required on weekends to sit up in the wheelchair and work his arms since there was no physical therapy on weekends and he begged on Saturday morning thro Sunday night to get into the wheelchair. Well, the CNA on Sunday tried her hardest to get him in it and even brought the hoyer lift in and said ALL DAY the nurse was busy! He literally felt himself getting weaker fast and since they refused to put him in the wheelchair cuz "they had no help" that Monday he went to physical therapy and couldn't even walk! He was walking the week before around 10 to 20 steps! This place definitely isn't very welcomey either. When u walk by the nurses station they don't even say hi cuz they're too busy on their phones. I have tried my hardest and so did my dad to be so nice to these girls and some of them were just so rude!!! Anyway, my dad ended up passing away had a massive stroke they found him in vomit and was rushed to the hospital. When I got to the hospital he was on ventilator bleeding from the brain very bad. I called willowbrook asked them when the last time they checked on him they said at 830 they gave him a pain pill and at 10:40 they found him unresponsive and had to do CPR. If they had more staff and not a 16 patient ratio they could check up on these people more often. This is a CIENA ISSUE which they also manage Kith Haven if that should tell u anything! Also this place doesn't allow u to record your loved one at physical therapy because there are other people in there doing physical therapy as well but even if the camera is just on them they still won't let u. Also u aren't allowed to record u and the nurse conversations "it's HIPPA" crazy right? I told a story to one of the social workers 2 weeks of my dad being there and the crap the nurse said to me and told her I had it recorded cuz I feel like most of these places don't wanna believe u and she told me no recording and if I continue I won't be allowed back. She didn't even bother to listen to what I had! They honestly don't care. Alot of these workers are only there for a paycheck and not great patient care.
The facility is nice clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful and also knowledgeable. They were good to my mother the short time that she was there. I would recommend the facility to others.
My uncle was a patient in Willowbrook on the rehabilitation side. When I tell you, the service was excellent, I am not exaggerating. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I am more than satisfied with the service we received. Providng good patient service seems to be part of their culture and I appreciate it! Thank you Willowbrook ❤️
