Reviews
I visited an elderly Uncle today at Village Green Rehab in Forestville CT. It was my first visit to this facility. I have been to several others in the local area over the last decade or so. I was impressed with the friendliness of the young lady at the front desk and the state of the art check in / check out system. On my way to my Uncle's room I noted the tidiness of the halls, and what looked to be a very inviting cafeteria. Arriving at the room, the floor was being cleaned. My impression of the room was that it was spacious and well maintained. Pleasant, homey atmosphere rather than a clinical hospital room. Only my first impression, but it seemed nice.
My grandmother has been at the village green for three months and the staff and services have been amazing. It's never easy transitioning to long term care from rehab and life at home - but the support we've received by social work has been insurmountable in helping her adjust. In the time She has been there they have healed a wound she came in with, recognized and had her treated for pneumonia and provided excellent nursing care. Staff has made sure she is comfortable and has her needs met. I can't thank them enough for making her as comfortable as she can be.
I don’t have the words to express how deeply grateful I am for all the STAFF @ Village Green. My dad spent his last days with them. They were very attentive and supportive, friendly, professional and supportive. They did an amazing job not only with my dad but with our entire family. They took care of dad every step of the way. You guys were wonderful so thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!! The Pagán Family 🙏💔🕊️
My husband spent his final days here on the vent floor. The staff was good but my experience with the wound nurse ( I believe her name is Mary Ann) was most appreciated. She was honest with me when I asked her questions, was patient and so very caring, she helped me face the hardest experience that I have ever have to deal with. I can’t thank her enough.
Don’t expect anyone to accept or return your calls about your loved ones. We live out of state and have zero communication from them about our family member. Update after their reply: Their solution to not calling me back or speaking with their own patient is for me to call them again. Lol. Tells you a lot!
