My grandma came to this facility and the staff are generally kind and attentive. The building is clean but fairly basic—don’t expect anything fancy, but it’s functional and safe. The meals are simple and consistent, with a few options depending on dietary needs. Activities are offered but limited, which my grandma’s favorite was the bingo! (She loves herself a good bingo game) My family dealt directly with Kim during the intake process, she offered us her cell phone number, which was comforting and she was great through the entire process. Overall, this facility does the job—it offers the core support a patient or family might need without all the frills. If you’re looking for a place that prioritizes straightforward care and assistance, this would be a good fit!
My grandfather was placed at casitas for short term physical therapy and occupational therapy needs and is now home. I felt it was necessary to post about this place, because before he was admitted I was genuinely concerned about this place based on the review. Fortunately, our experience was wonderful. From the moment I contacted them, their team was professional, caring, and attentive. My grandfather was well taken care of, the staff genuinely cares about the well-being of their patients, providing personalized care that made our family feel supported and valued. The nurses were extremely proactive and responded promptly to our needs. The facility is clean, comfortable, and the staff is very compassionate. I appreciated the open communication and the way they always took time to answer questions and address concerns. Casitas Health Care truly stands out for its commitment to excellence. Highly recommend!
I am here now having been admitted yesterday for short term care and I will not be staying. The place smells dirty. The blinds at the window are not working properly, the light pull is a plastic bag tied to a cord. The bed is very uncomfortable, the pillows are flat and useless. The food is appalling. I waited ages for my buzzer to be answered. The night time was very noisy with staff listening to a very loud tv. Loud conversation banging all night. Someone screaming and ringing their buzzer all night. Not the place I want to be. Will not be recommending this place to anyone. The place should be closed down immediately.
I'm surprised that this facility has received such low stars. My father was transferred to this facility about a month ago. They have taken such good care of him. I have no complaints what so ever. Every time I visit, it is clean and smells nice. The patients look clean and my dad is always clean and looks happy. I've worked with the Social Worker, Cindy from admission to discharge and she is an outstanding employee. She is friendly, informative and accommodating. If I could get my father into this facility long term I'd jump at the chance. My dad's food always looks and smells delicious. The Nurses don't say much but I'd imagine they are busy, but if you ask them questions, they will assist you. I've had a very positive experience with this facility and, more importantly, my elderly father had a good experience. Thank you Casitas Care Center!
My mom was at the facility for 3 weeks. I would not recommend this place. As soon as you walk in it has an odor. Facility need to be upgraded. Some personnel are very nice and others really don't care. Not a welcoming place. They need more CNA's. They don't follow through with medications or insurance companies for any supplies the patient may need at discharge.
