Both of my parents received top-notch treatment at the outpatient rehab facility. My dad took a couple falls which resulted in a hurt shoulder so he required both PT & OT. My dad's lead OT, Ashwini, was very attentive from the first visit. She asked all the right questions and created the perfect plan to help him maximize his upper body functionality. The supporting OT's (Rano and Jesse)were equally supportive in helping him push past limitations while also engaging him in wonderful conversation. My dad's lead PT, Alexa, also took the time to understand the nuance in his issues and addressing his balance/stability issues accordingly. The supporting PT's (Jamin and Andrew) interchanged beautifully, providing lasting results and new friendships. After a few weeks, my dad's awareness of his surroundings and ability to support his own weight dramatically improved!!! My mom also needed treatment for her knee which was almost keeping her immobile. Her lead PT, Bano, immediately recognized the root cause stemmed from lifestyle such as standing for long durations. After just the first visit, my mom was walking better! Since then, her knee is much better and she continues to do the exercises shown to her while also adjusting her habits. We'd also like to extend our gratitude to Lisa and Sheryl at the front desk for helping us develop the perfect schedule to make this all possible. An extended thanks to Diane for her help in getting both of them in the door. Everyone at Lawrence Rehab is sharp, witty and wonderful to be around. They all truly are family!!
This is my third time returning to Lawrence Rehab. The treatment was incredible. The treatment plan is dynamic adjusting for what needs attention as we proceed. They are attentive and supportive throughout the process. Not a glamorous place, but all the staff including front desk are amazing. you truly are part of a family, not just a patient. Bethany and Alexa were a great team, and after discharge my family was amazed at how I improved, much to the credit of my Therapists. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
I attend a monthly Parkinson's Disease Support group meeting at this facility. The meetings started back in April of 2025, and I've been to all but two. I really appreciate the support they have given. Donna and Kristen, who organize the meetings, are great! They are very positive and welcoming. They bring in a variety of guest speakers on the subject which is very helpful. They also provide some light refreshments which shows great hospitality. I am very Thankful for all that they do for us who struggle with this handicap. Thank you so much to Donna and Kristen and to the Lawrence Rehabilitation Hospital for all that you do! Sincerely and gratefully yours, - JT
We celebrated Irene’s 85th birthday party on Friday Oct. 24 and it was splendid! In House 8 we had cake and nice music. In House 6 it was cake, karaoke music and lots of group singing and partying. The Life Enrichment staff , (Janna, Maricar, Anna, Brandy, and housekeeping staff member Marvy) all did a wonderful job of singing, dancing, and encouraging residents to enjoy themselves. Karolina (assistant administrator) did a great job of recording it all. Irene was so happy and engaged, as were the other residents and visitors. Kudos to all!
Ashwini is a great therapist! She pushed to improve my physical and occupational goals. She is a true professional and a pleasure to work with. She helped me in my time of need. Kudos to a wonderful person! all of the therapists, their staff and the ladies in the front office make Lawrenceville rehab a great place to get yourself back to what you once were. I highly recommend this facility.
