In September, my husband, Jan, wrote a review of his positive experiences with this facility’s PT and OT. After his stay of 7 weeks at Baywind Village, he would also like to comment on his nursing experience at this facility. We would like to highlight two nurses who took care of him daily, who really showed compassion and care for their patients. They clearly love their work and the challenges that come with it. Debbie Jackson ( Hall 100) is a first class nurse who is really professional, encouraging, and is always smiling and positive. Orlie ( Hall 100) is another exceptional nurse that is truly impressive. You can tell by his actions that he genuinely cares for his patients’ well-being. He loves his job and its challenges. Now that we have left the facility, we will miss their daily dose of sunshine. Thank you all so much for making this not-so-great-situation a surprisingly pleasant experience.

The nurse that takes care of my mom during the day at Baywind Village is Mandy Feltner. She does an outstanding job and my mom loves her! I can’t say enough about how great the care is for my mom. I am so grateful that I moved my mom to Baywind Village! The staff and management are truly caring and friendly! Everyone is very supportive and helpful no matter your needs. The place is kept immaculate from the grounds outside to every inch of the building. Thanks Baywind Village for all you do for my entire family!

I want to express my deepest gratitude to all the doctors, nurses, physical therapists, to the janitorial crew who cared for my father during his stay at the rehabilitation home. From the very beginning, every member of the team was not only professional but also incredibly compassionate and thoughtful. They went above and beyond to make sure he felt comfortable, supported, and truly cared for. The nurses were attentive and gentle, always checking in on him with patience and kindness. The doctors took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure his needs were always a priority. The physical therapists were amazing so hands on, encouraging, and dedicated to helping him gain strength and independence again. It means so much to see how each person treated my father with such respect and warmth, as if he were their own family. Thanks to their hard work, dedication, and genuine care, my father is now home, and we couldn’t be more grateful. This experience has left me with so much appreciation for the staff, and I cannot thank them enough for the compassion and effort they put into his recovery.

My sister has been a resident at Baywind for the past year. She has received excellent nursing care from everyone but in particular Mandy Feltner. Unfortunately, she can no longer talk. Mandy is the highlight of her day. She patiently communicates with Mary on her communication board and through questions to respond to her needs.
