Does anyone ever look at these reviews? I look at them and they are all awful. Does this not raise a red flag that something needs to be done? I called again today about the phone in my loved ones room. Been trying to reach her for, this is the third day. Was like talking to a rock. Was met with an unfriendly, callous tone. Asked to speak to the executive director of the facility. Was supposedly transferred to her, Simone. Was on hold for 10 minutes and I finally hung up. No one ever answered. I have never seen anything like this. The following is the last review I submitted. Do you think anything has changed or improved? NO! I have contacted the nursing home countless times about not being able to reach my loved ones that are residents there. The phones are always out of order or they are moved to a place the person can’t reach it. My friend is bed fast. She cannot get up to get her phone. Her phone is always being placed on a table behind her head on a side table that she cannot reach. I have called everyday now for 4 days and asked if someone could check and see that she can reach her phone. Still no answer in her room. I live an hour away so I cannot be running up there at the drop of a hat to check her phone. When I call, the people there have personalities of a rock. Not helpful at all. They are incompetent. Always act like you are a major inconvenience. That never do what you ask the to do, like checking on your loved one or see that they can get to their phone. If you care anything about your loved one do not put them in Clifton Heights. If you have a loved one there get them out and move them someplace else immediately. If it is this much trouble to get someone to check a residents phone I can’t imagine what it would be like if there was a more serious issue.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Absolutely horrible. If someone is looking for a place for their mom or dad or even grandparents, DO NOT GO HERE. I REPEAT DO NOT PUT YOUR FAMILY IN THIS FACILITY. Let me save you from the nightmare. No one in this building cares about their patients. There is absolutely no communication within the employees or management. You can't even get them to pick up their own phone to speak to someone. I currently have a family member in this building and we are working on getting them out of here ASAP. Shut this place down please!!!!!!!!!
Perfect example. Who is Robert Beam? This is Rick Logsdon, a friend of Hettie Kolter’s for over 50 years. This has got to be the worst nursing home in Kentucky. Hettie‘s phone never works. Never! I call to have someone check it. The patients phones are down. Seriously ! Every time I call. The patients phones are down. That’s garbage! I sat on hold for 28 minutes waiting for someone at her nurses station to ask them if they would check her phone. Never an answer. I have called the administrative person overseeing the nursing facility. Blah! Blah! Blah! never admitting the people that work there are incompetent. I have had my mother in a nursing home for several years. The Artria. It is fabulous. Excellent care. Never an incident that we are experiencing with Clifton Oaks. This place needs to be shut down. I’m going to report this place to ADP, and WAVE trouble shooter. .
My best friend was in here for 14 hrs and she had to call 911 for them to take her back to the hospital this facility had no bed side commode, she wasn’t given her medication, no one answered the call button, she wasn’t given any food and it was definitely the worse facility I’ve ever seen there wasn’t anyone to take her vitals, her blood pressure was extremely high when she got to the hospital 0 out of 10 and I do not recommend
This place makes me so sad. People can’t get their nails cleaned or cut, their hair doesn’t get brushed and gets matted and gross, they can’t get showers, they can’t get assistance out of bed, half of them can’t even get readjusted so they can feed themselves properly in the bed. There’s mold around the toilets. Many of the aides dont care, and the management doesn’t seem to care. They all hate the food. They don’t even get milk with their cereal or sugar with oatmeal, ketchup with French fries. If they want a salad they can have ranch dressing, that’s all, just ranch. It’s just sad here. No one should leave their loved one here. If they want “quality payor sources”, quality employees, etc sometimes you have to spend money to make money! You certainly have to put in the work and CARE! Why doesn’t the state shut this place down?
