Altercare of Louisville Ctr for Rehab & Nsg Care

I have been at this facility for alittle over a year now as the receptionist. I love where I am at and who I work along side with. I have never been in a position, been apart of a work place that feels as safe and comforting and like home as I do at this job. I absolutely love my co workers and the staff that work here. Their work ethic and dedication is very inspiring and I’m so happy and grateful I can be apart of that type of environment. We strive everyday to do our absolute best, as individuals and as a team. Our managers and staff go above and beyond and I’ll forever be grateful for this opportunity. A huge personal shout out to the administrator- my boss, for everything that she does. She is greatly appreciated and will do anything to help others! We have an amazing team here!

The growth this company has showed over the last year of me working here is amazing! Our new Administrator, Chelsea, and DON, Ericka have made many changes to better the facility not only for staff, but residents as well! I am grateful to work with an amazing group of managers, staff, and residents everyday!

If you love your family member you will not take them here. Every concerning review on here has been proven true after the nightmare experience we went through. A couple of things were withholding pain meds, refusal to call for transport to see her primary doctor so it didn't interfere with THEIR billing. Lying about the transport being ready all weekend and then telling her no on day of, delaying emergency surgery care. (They claimed their PCPs could fill out the form - NOPE - it was rejected and we had to take her to the appointment ourselves to the original doctor they refused to let her see - wasting our time and in my opinion, commiting insurance fraud.) She asked for a shower on Friday, she received one when I came in to provide it on Sunday. She would not have got it had I not arrived late on Sunday - that's 3 days denying basic needs. Short staff? Not the issue they were bragging about how they were overstaffed. Nothing my family member requested was done, I had to call or show up every single time to make sure she was taken care of -- there was zero point in her stay when I had to do everything. They're supposed to take care of your family member. They don't. They can't even fax a form to the correct number when the number is ON the form itself. I suspect it was on purpose. No way is an RN that inept. They didn't even take vitals but once in her week long stay. Once I complained they retaliated by making her wait over two hours for her pain meds - they magically appeared 10 minutes after I called. They did everything to delay her care so they could continue to siphon money from her insurance. If your choice is home or this place, choose home. You're going to have to do everything anyways, and then you don't have to deal with the hassles they cause! The only redeeming person was Angel, who was an angel and took care of her. Unfortunately my family member was transferred out of her section and was not a part of her care for most of her stay. If you are in Angels section you will be ok as long as she's there! She needs a raise. Altercare, YOU DO NOT DICTATE PATIENT CARE. THE PATIENT DOES. You interfered with her care and that is abhorrent. I hope your entire business is reformed because the way you're running it is TRASH. Please fix yourselves before you do more harm.

I have been an employee here for 5 and a half years now. I absolutely love my job. The team we have in place right now is amazing and we are lead by a great Administrator, Chelsea. We all strive everyday to make this facility a home for our Residents.

This is a great facility. Every time I come in everyone is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful! The activity department is amazing and has some great activities for residents to do! Management is very active on the floor and always have an open door for anyone. 💛😊👏
