GENERATIONS AT APPLEWOOD

My uncle was at this nursing home and it was atrocious! He initially went in for rehabilitation, which those rooms have been updated and modern. The nursing home area is a run down piece of poo and smells lukewarm urine. The care was obsolete and disappointing. When he needed care or his health was in jeopardy they did not take immediate action to contact the hospital. My uncle’s items were stolen by the staff, which is heartbreaking. The price is ridiculous at $9500.00 a month!! For that price, you better have former meals, attentive health care and private suites. My uncle passed away there and the day before, when I was there, he received poor care. The nursing staff left him sitting in his feces and he needed urgent care for his heart condition. Find somewhere else to place your loved one when you cannot care for them. Sick to my stomach over his stay there.

This place is horrendous. Do you want your loved one to have a hot dog bun with meat sandwich and Doritos for dinner? For breakfast hard boiled egg and sausage (I think). And you can see a male patient in another room go to the hospital for UTI. They like to blast music and conduct other recreational things. It's just the luck of the draw if your loved one needs assistance at night it'sthe luck to draw they may are mostly not come. Plus over 90% of their income is taken away. If you like these options for your loved one this is the perfect place.

We are starting with Mom’s stay, but the Generations Applewood team has welcomed us. When you come to a rehab/long-term stay facility, it’s usually because your loved one requires care the family cannot provide; that was our case. To our delight, everyone assumes a leadership role, and correcting what needs to be adjusted and followed up is fantastic. Chris leads his team by being visible in the hallways, which makes the families feel good. Nurse Lauren has made it a point to capture our opportunities and see that the family is happy with the answers to the care questions. Four department heads attended our care plan meeting to discuss Mom's health. My family was impressed and appreciated the experience in the room, which helped us decide on Mom’s care. Team Admissions continues to be a kind voice as we navigate Mom’s health future. In a challenging environment where finding talent is complex, our Mom looks forward to therapy with Sal and the patience of the CNA team.

They treat their staff horribly their management is terrible new or old it's always the same they don't get a lot of linen so CNAs would have to use pillow cases to wipe our family members and 7-3 always leaves at least 2 or 3 people not changed which falls on 3-11 because they end up having to do extra work their facility is not good to live at or work they doete my Previous review which I'm not surprised

My mom was admitted on 4/23/24 on hospice to your facility. Unfortunately she passed only two hours later. Her time at Generations wasn't long, barely enough time to get tucked in and checked in. So my appreciation is the way the staff treated our family. Our shock and surprise by her quick death was comforted by your staff. I mean EVERYONE was so nice and patient with our situation.
