MERCY HEALTH SERVICES

Mercy rehab staff have provided over 20 years of compassionate and supportive care for my friend Donald. He was born with cerebral palsy and as he aged his mobility declined. He required total assist. He recently died at age 88 after going back to Mercy with Hospice services after a brief hospital stay. The relief on his face when he got back to Mercy was priceless. Thank You to the wonderful staff of over 20 years at Mercy and for North Shore Hospice these past few weeks. I recommend Mercy Rehab for their outstanding care and compassion. **** Margaret is an Angel.

Just not a nice place for your love one to go to. I had a very bad experiences there. My husband was send there for rehabilitation barely got therapy, every day, I went there his clothes were missing . He caught a bowel movement infection that made him sick to end back up in the Emergency fighting for his life. He has been in this place for a month (August 2, - August 29, 2024),without proper care. They have too many patients, not enough staff members to go around. You do have some nice nurses, and a handful of other staff members that do care about the people that is there . Always investigated or visit the facility before putting your love one in.

Over and Under Medicaid the Patients! Your Love One Will Have Bedsores......This place is A NIGHTMARE PLEASE YOU BEEN WARNED! ⚠️ 3/14/2025

My father was taken to this place until he gained his ability to walk again. Let me tell you, this place is horrible. The staff attends to the patients when they feel up to it. My father asks for food and he waits up to an hour for staff to finally care enough to give him any. Now my family has resorted to bringing in our own food to him. They also take his clothing without permission and wash them when we clearly told staff at the front desk that we would be washing his clothing. The most infuriating part of this is that they never return his clothing unless he goes to reclaim them HIMSELF. Like I said, he can't walk so how is he supposed to get his stuff? So then he's left with little to no clothing. I'm not expecting this place to have quality food and hospitality, but at least hire staff that is willing to help the elderly. I actually feel bad putting him in this place. Never again.

Employees are friendly and informative. The place is clean and the decor is pleasing to the eyes. The food smells wonderful. When I can't get there, they answer and respond to all my phone calls. So far my experience with Mercy is positive.
