Norridge Gardens Rehabilitation Centre has been a true blessing for our family, and especially for my sister. From the moment I contacted the centre, Tati responded immediately; she was able to help me arrange for my sister to be transferred. Upon entering, we were greeted with warm smiles at reception and a bright and welcoming lobby that immediately conveyed a positive feeling. The centre strikes the perfect balance between a professional medical environment and a comfortable, homey atmosphere: clean, well-lit hallways, thoughtfully decorated common areas, and spacious rooms that offer privacy and easy access to care. However, what truly makes Norridge Gardens stand out is its staff. Rubi, the supervisor, in particular, plays an exceptional role at the centre; she is always willing to help and provide the best possible care to everyone. Every nurse, therapist, and aide we have met greets my sister by name, sincerely asks how she is feeling, and takes the time to explain each step of her care plan. Their care goes far beyond routine check-ups: they've noticed subtle changes in her progress, adjusted her physiotherapy exercises, and encouraged her with every achievement, no matter how small. Her occupational therapist devised creative activities to help her regain fine motor skills, such as adapting everyday tasks into fun, goal-oriented challenges. Communication with the family has also been exceptional: honest updates on my sister's rehabilitation goals and timelines, and staff, like the social worker, are always just a phone call or a friendly chat away when we have questions. The center's commitment to safety and cleanliness, especially in high-traffic areas, provides added peace of mind. In short, Norridge Gardens Rehabilitation Centre has transformed what could have been a stressful and uncertain experience into a journey of healing, hope, and genuine human connection. Was very proud see my sister — stronger, more confident, and more supported every step of the way — and our entire family couldn't ask for a better place to call her temporary home.

Nov 6, 2025 - My husband has been a patient at Norridge Gardens for nearly four years, and this journey has been overwhelming at times, to say the least. When a loved one must be admitted to a nursing home, it can be both difficult and emotionally challenging. However, I must say that the care and support my husband has received—especially over the past two years—have been nothing short of remarkable. Let’s be honest: nursing homes often have a poor reputation. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to quality care. It truly takes a dedicated team working together to ensure each resident’s well-being. My husband’s care team has been phenomenal—from the hardworking CNAs and nurses to the wound care specialists, dietitians, social workers, and business office staff. Whenever I have a concern, I always receive consistent and compassionate support. I would like to especially recognize Nurse Supervisor Ruby and her team. They are some of the hardest-working professionals I’ve encountered. The respect Ruby’s team has for her is genuine and well-earned. She leads with both excellence and accountability, showing heartfelt concern for every patient on her floor. Her CNAs work cohesively, demonstrating true compassion and empathy for their residents. Under Ruby’s leadership, the team exemplifies commitment, cooperation, and genuine care. Knowing my husband is in such capable hands gives me peace of mind when I can’t be there. This sense of security did not come easily—it has been built over time through trust, responsiveness, and sincere follow-through whenever issues arise. I’ve learned that everyone is human and mistakes can happen, but what matters most is how a team responds—with care, honesty, and action. Norridge Gardens has truly become my home away from home. Because of the level of care my husband receives, I can rest easy at night knowing he is safe and well cared for. No facility is perfect, but there are some that truly strive every day to make things better—and Norridge Gardens is one of them. I wholeheartedly recommend Norridge Gardens for your loved one’s long- or short-term care needs. Remember, as family members, we are advocates for our loved ones—it’s important to stay engaged and involved in their care. The staff at Norridge makes that partnership easier and more meaningful. I don’t know how much longer my husband has, but I am deeply grateful for the team of professionals who treat him with dignity, kindness, and respect every single day. I believe that what you make happen for others, God will make happen for you—and I am forever thankful for those who care for my husband with such compassion.

Our cousin has been in the memory care section at Norridge gardens for two years. She’s only 57 but has pretty severe dementia. They have worked with Kim From the beginning, and are very tuned in to her needs and who she is. My sister and I had a staff meeting with Sandra, the social worker and Trisha, the restorative nurse as well as the dietitian. We had great communication with them and found them to be very helpful as Kim’s illness progresses They were congenial and we got the feeling that they really knew who Kim was. Norridge Gardens Is not a fancy facility But the people that work, there are compassionate and knowledgeable. My sister and I both feel Kim is well cared for at norridge gardens. The day room in memory care Is lively With many residents Participating in group activities And they are working toward improving things all the time. Tricia and Sandra with particularly helpful in discussing our wishes For Kim, as her disease progresses. It was a very open and honest conversation Which we are most grateful for.
