Would not send my worst enemy here! If you have good insurance they'll keep you as long as they can. Very few nurses knew what was going on and the attitude of most was awful! My family talked to the director (Rick Curtis) and voiced concerns. He seemed genuinely concerned and "would look into everything". In reading other reviews, this seems to be the regular response. This facility will be reported and we are looking into getting legal support. Save your reply of "we'll look into your concerns " - obviously you don't and nothing gets done. My advice to anyone looking to use this place as a rehab facility - LOOK ELSEWHERE! Please close this facility and save patients and family the concerns associated

Rehab was great but nursing was lacking. The elderly should not have to wait an hr once they call for help to bathroom or matter of fact for any request and left in a soiled diaper. Weekends are the worst for staff shortage. Most help was very nice but you can tell they are stretched thin in patience. It was interesting to watch and let me know not to choose that place again. Food was adaquate but unappealing and you don’t give bacon to someone on a low sodium restricted diet period. Invest in insulated water pitchers for patients so they don’t keep asking instead of handing out styrofoam cups of ice water, it would let staff do more important jobs than running for ice water all the time.

The staff was so helpful while visiting mu Aunt. Their professional attitude, their resolve is impressive to my visit. You can feel their dedication and care towards the residents. These really are health care professionals. They care; it’s certainly not the money that motivates them; it’s their hearts.

The nursing and nursing assistant staff were amazing! My mother received very good care! Shout out to Latoya! She was so kind and attentive to my mom. All the nurses and aides were amazing. The therapy staff was great. The only problem was that my mother needed much more therapy than is provided at this level of care. Not the staffs’ fault, I was led to believe my mom was going to an inpt rehab facility where she would receive 3 hours of therapy per day ( from the hospital social worker). Would highly recommend this facility for skilled care of the level they provide

Horrible facility. My mom went there after a surgery and it was a complete nightmare. Got her out of there and transferred to another rehab facility 3 days later. Very unorganized. Didn’t take my moms vitals until I asked on day 2. They had her laying in bed for over a whole day with no movement. My mom woke up one night in the middle of the night to a male CNA changing her diaper. No introduction, no asking her if she was ok with a male changing her, etc. This was extremely disturbing. Again…She was woken up from her sleep to a MALE changing her!!!! I just can’t get over that!!!! Didn’t know what medications they were handing to her to take and when my mom questioned it and said she didn’t recognize some of the meds the nurse said “well don’t take it then”. The nurse said she didn’t know either cause she already threw the wrappers out that the meds came in. Nurses had COMPLETE ATTITUDE!!! Especially the weekend ones!!! My mom was afraid of them. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy there. This place needs to be shut down. Filed a formal complaint with the Illinois Department of Public Health that’s how bad it is. It’s actually dangerous. Spoke to the executive director and he was shocked by what I advised him and said he’s going to look into it and that’s not their normal operation. After coming here and reading others reviews I see this is the norm and that’s why I can’t believe this place is still operating. SHUT IT DOWN!!!
