Tuckerman Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center

I recently visited The Tuckerman Rehabilitation Facility and was very impressed with the care and environment. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable—providing an ideal setting for recovery after surgery. The food was excellent, and the staff was not only attentive but also timely in meeting every need, which made the stay feel supportive and personalized. The recent renovations have given the entire building a fresh, welcoming atmosphere and a whole new character compared to how it once was. What stood out most was the combination of professionalism and warmth from the team, which truly made a difference in the experience. My time there even increased my interest in the assisted living side of The Terraces at Tuckerman Lane, which I would also consider for myself or a loved one in need of that type of care. I highly recommend Tuckerman Rehabilitation Facility to anyone seeking a clean, modern, and caring environment for short-term rehab or recovery.

I was initially hesitant about going to a rehab center after being hospitalized; however, my wife and daughters were adamant and persistent that I needed sub-acute services before going home. They spent days and hours researching all he facilities in my area to find a center that would best assist me with recovery. Unanimously, they chose Tuckerman because of its reputation, location, and services. I have been here a week and I must admit that it has been an awesome experience. The staff are extremely professional, knowledgeable, trained, and willing to assist as soon as you get to the facility. The facility itself is very clean. The food is delicious. The medical team is very caring and responsive. The physical therapy and occupational therapy teams are skilled and enjoy working with patients. Lastly, the administrative staff to include custodians, activities coordinator, the interns, all have been exemplary in their service delivery. This place is very clean, good food, nutritious soups. Rehabilitation department is very good very polite. Push you a little bit but not too much, for me it was the best. Laurel was attentive to me and gave me a massage. I am 77 years old and the doctor told me that was excellent for my age. In general the nurses and aides are good. Gertrude is excellent and professional- greets me in the hallway every time. This place is one of the best. I am grateful I came here.

I would recommend this place, this my second time here too. Gertrude..employee of the year, she is excellent in every possible way. She is friendly she is kind she knows what she’s doing. She is always there for me.. I cannot praise her. I truly feel that whatever she earns is not enough and she deserves more from my bottom of my heart. My rehab is progressing very well and she is a big part of that. Rehab has me walking a lot. In the future if I have friends or relatives that need rehab , I will highly recommend this facility and a large part of that is because of Gertrude.

Nurses are really good helpful and kind. Gertrude Dolly Leah Grace Izzy Dom and in therapy Emily Renee Laurel Terry Leo Abdul basically the whole team is excellent for me. They push you just enough to your benefit. The food is very good soups are amazing. Just the kitchen staff alone GREAT. Thank you chef. Housekeeping staff come in every day and are excellent , they say hi introduce themselves - Judy is a doll
