My dad has been a resident in the Tower (assisted living) since mid April 2025. He was so mad when we had to place him. (After 5 years of work from home we were to return to the office. He cant stay alone because he falls occasionally) Now that he has been there for a few months, if someone asks if he likes it he says, "Yes! It's really nice" He is a picky eater and says the food is pretty good. He is a chronic complainer yet has has absolutely ZERO complaints about anything or anyone. Everyone I have had contact with is extremely nice and helpful. I can't recommend Shorehaved enough. I can tell he is much happier since moving there. Plenty to do everyday.
Top notch facility for full care or rehab services. Their staff is amazing-caring, kind & competent. Facility is beautiful (on the water) and clean. Nice restaurant options for dining in with visiting family. One of the best in the Midwest. Thankful for their service to our family. Well done, Shorehaven staff!
This is a review of the rehabilitation facility. I can’t say enough negative this about this place. The organization is an absolute mess. They don’t communicate at all to family when they we asked several times for specific information. My family member had to be taken to the hospital due to catching an infection while in the care here. We had literally asked them to look for the same infection a week earlier and we didn’t recieve any update. Jordan and Sheryl are absolutely terrible at what they do. Jordan told us the same day that our family member was taken to the hospital that we had to pay 400 dollars a day for the room if it went unused. She shows absolutely no sympathy for anyone. They gave a cold compress for a fever and opened the windows how will that help? Sheryl said that after a week my family member would be released but that was not true at all. I had asked her several questions that she avoided the answers to. We found out that we would have to go and visit our family member every single day just to make sure they were taken care of. Where do they find these people they couldn’t run a Target. I would like to speak to the owner of this place and ask them what they think of this situation.
My mother was in Memory Care at Shorehaven for nearly four years until last week when she passed. I simply cannot say enough about the wonderful and loving care she received throughout. The staff became an extended family for her and our whole family. Her every need was met with love and compassion and skill. I highly recommend Shorehaven and would not hesitate to tell those looking for senior living accommodations to look no further than Shorehaven! Ever grateful
Poor. I can’t rank them as 1 because I stayed at a 1 for 1 day. They r required by Medicare to give u 1 hour p.t. N 1 hour o. T. U get about 15 minutes of each. Of my 6 weeks there very little was done. U r in so fast!!!!! I really disliked these snotty little CNA’s they hire to do all the scut work. Stay away from Mary a nurse at night!!!!!! No compassion!!!! I’d lay there for hours in horrible pain n she could care less. I was allowed Tylenol for breakthru pain but most of the time I was denied that. All I ate was dry chicken n fake potatoes. I have lost a ton of weight staying there. Very poor food. I had 1 hand n no one would help me eat or boost me up to try. I ate w my fingers a lot! All the time I was there I saw the n. P. Once. I asked to see her to up my pain meds, no response. They could care less. It’s a step up from Aria. Don’t ever stay there!!!!! These rehabs r a rip off. After your stroke. Go directly into a strictly rehab center. No hospital rehabs!!!! There r two other rehabs that should be shut down. Horrible!!! Writing this upsets me.
