I was a skilled nursing patient spending 3 months in this facility as recently as Nov. 2025. Like all facilities of this nature they have their issues. They are older and don’t have the most up-to-date amenities. They are sometimes short staffed and you occasionally have to be patient if you need something. BUT, I have never been in a better facility and, due to the nature of my illness, I have been in several over the past 2 years - some with much higher reviews. The director of the facility is newer (within the last couple of years) and from what I could tell has made significant improvements during his time there. The staff does become family. Literally all the people who had a hand in my care were compassionate and went out of their way to accommodate my every need no matter how small. I learned to walk again here! The activities director is amazing making sure to include residents in all the activities whether taking people to the zoo for an outing or playing bingo every couple of days. A hair stylist even comes every month or so for free cuts, etc. Bottom line if you are looking for a skilled facility or a long term care residence you should look at Heritage Manor.
My mom has been here for a little over a month. I have visited her almost daily for several hours at a time. Her shared toilet was disgusting or flooding the floor. My mom is a fall risk so having a very wet bathroom is not only unsanitary but rediculous that in a months time hasnt been fixed. The CNA there are very friendly and caring but there time with difficult patients takes away from other patients. My mom gained 6 pounds after she arrived but has now lost more weight because the food is horrible. I have tasted it myself. Would I recommend this nursing home? Yes. I know how difficult it is to find good kind caring people to work in the facilities and this place has found those people. I want to give Eric the maintenance man a huge shout out for caring so much but being pushed in every direction. You Eric are a very kind caring hard worker..Thank you for that.
Why is this facility still operating? The elder care in the USA is horrible especially if you are not rich. Everything is about money, even our healthcare. Step it up Oklahoma. You are disgusting for allowing this.
This is where my daughter, who was 100% disabled, spent the last year of her life. Many unanswered questions remain concerning her death there in November, 2018, which will likely never be answered. Lauren was BEYOND neglected here! They never brushed her teeth & several times she went two weeks without a shower. Her hair began falling out. Her bedsores increased pitifully while in their "care". She was NEVER included in any of their occasional activities, but was always left in her bed & all alone. Sharon Manning, the night shift weekend nurse, rarely left the nurses station, even though told repeatedly Lauren was in pain &/or great distress. The final eight weeks of her life I insisted lab work be done as I was sure Lauren was septic & required hospitalization. Never once were we given a straight answer NOR were we shown any test results. During the final two months of her life, we were told each week the lab results came back as "inconclusive & contaminated". What a crock! I don't believe any samples were ever sent or taken at all! My daughter's life was miserably shortened by their TOTAL lack of care. I would not place my worst enemy at Heritage Manor. They should be permanently shut down & serve prison time.
My grandmother lived here for almost 2 years. The employees and other residents treated her like a family member. They were very caring and committed to her well being. I would highly recommend this facility if you need a small place for your loved one.
