For some reason, people often focus on negative reviews first and don't value as much the positive ones. I want to share our experience because my mom is currently being treated at Ontario Health Care Center, and we are happy with the care she is receiving from both the staff and the management. Every time the nurses come into the room, they radiate love and speak with a caring tone. The facility is always clean, and the garden is a beautiful space where sunlight and nature lift the energy to an even higher vibration. We are truly grateful, and I hope this 5-star feedback reflects the positive experience we’ve had at this facility.
I cannot say enough great things about the rehab facility that cared for my grandfather while he was healing from pneumonia. From the moment he was admitted, the entire team showed such compassion, professionalism, and dedication to his recovery. One person who stood out in particular was his nurse, Amber. She was truly exceptional. Amber went above and beyond to make sure we were informed every step of the way. Whether it was changes in his care plan, updates on his progress, or just reassuring us during tough moments—she was always there with clear communication, kindness, and genuine concern. I never once felt like I was in the dark, and that peace of mind was priceless. My grandfather made incredible progress during his time there, and I believe the support and care he received played a huge role in that. Thank you to the entire team, and a special thank you to Amber—you made a difficult time so much more bearable, and we are truly grateful.
I am so glad I didn’t pay attention to the negative reviews. My mom fell and hit her head, and ended up with a brain bleed. After spending 20 days in a hospital, we were transferred to Ontario Health Care Center. We arrived late at night, and the staff was ready for us. They took amazing care of my mom right away, got her comfortable in bed, and reassured us that she was in good hands. The next day, the entire administration team came and introduced themselves to me. They clearly laid out the care plan for my mom for the next few weeks. Everything was very well organized, and you can definitely tell that they care deeply and take pride in their facility. While my mom was in the hospital for 20 days, she only received physical therapy twice and spent most of her time in bed. Here at Ontario Health Care Center, within just three days, she had physical therapy three times. They came, got her out of bed, took her to the physical therapy room, and exercised with her. She was even able to take a couple of steps! The Alves family
For the most part, this place was great and they were very accommodating. The nurses were kind. However, there were a number of times I was visiting someone there, and they pushed the red button and it took upwards of 10 minutes for someone to come to the room. This was not the case every time, but it is very concerning because what if it was an emergency? I would recommend that management staff more nurses and caregivers so that they are not spread so thin. Also, management only works regular 9-5 business hours (and seemingly not on the weekends), so if you also work that time period and visit someone after work, you cannot talk to any management yourself.
Pure excellence! My father recently (1/25) received longterm care at Ontario Health. The facility management & supervisor professionals, Sonia and Alisha, administered the "BEST" of services to my father! He was extremely happy with the day to day operations, professionalism of the nurses (Ms. "J"), and the overall attention he received from staff. I can't overemphasized enough the peace of mind my family had knowing my father was truly care for! Currently, my father returned home and is in great spirits and resting comfortability. We love you, sincerely, The Hunter family.
