I’m very pleased with the care my family member received at Pleasantview Care Center. The facility was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which gave us peace of mind from the very beginning. The staff was professional, compassionate, and attentive to our loved one’s needs, making sure they were comfortable and well cared for at all times. It’s clear that Pleasantview prioritizes quality care and a supportive environment for residents. I’m grateful for the positive experience and would confidently recommend this nursing home to other families seeking dependable care for their loved ones.
My dad stayed there just recently for about 10 days while he recovers from surgery. He says that he had a good experience there. I visited him there, and the place seems very nice.the young lady working the front desk in the main lobby was very nice and friendly. If me,my dad or anyone we know needs a nursing rehabilitation center,we will definitely consider you people. Thank You!
Staff is underwhelming at best and neglectful at worst. The first room my family member was taken to was infested with flys and other bugs. The room was a double and the other person was obviously neglected. Management said the bugs and dirty rooms were normal and said there’s nothing they can do about it. We requested a room change and after another VERY LONG AND ATTITUDE FILLED conversation with management got a different room. We showed up for a visit and staff were reluctant to unlock the door for us, or approach the desk to open the door or even look at us PERIOD. We called them multiple times and when staff finally did answer the phone they were very annoyed we called to be let in. When visiting on a different afternoon, my family member had not been cared for AT ALL. No one had been in to even check if they were breathing, so changing clothes and hygiene had not been done since WE came in and did it OURSELVES the night before. They had not been cared for in around 24 HOURS. Nursing management staff ignored us and said there was no way that was true, you could literally SMELL MY FAMILY MEMBER FROM ACROSS THE ROOM. They tried to make them stay longer to keep getting money from insurance. When they finally let us take them home, a quarter of the clothes we brought were missing even though we wrote their name on the clothes and made sure to say we would take care of the clothes being washed. We even made a sign on the door of the closet. This place feels like an abandoned East Cleveland factory but with air conditioning in some rooms that you can’t use after 4pm. (Including on 90° days)
Administrators are rude and worry about money more than patient. Food is most horrible. Lost weight while there. Had a family member go out of town, so I sent my clothes to the laundry. I made sure my clothes were marked. An aid took me down there and found out the person who did residents clothes only part time. Found a huge basket of all the residents clothes. We looked through them and only found 2 things. On discharge the head of housekeeping said she would look for me. When we went to get the some of my clothes were missing and got some clothes weren't even mine. The positive most of the caregivers were very nice and fun to. The place was also very clean.
Pleasantview is amazing from the rooms to the staff. They are above and beyond. My aunt loves her room, the food, the activities, and especially the staff. It gives me peace of mind knowing that she is being cared for by a staff that cares for her just like they would take care of their own. highly recommend!
