My relative has lived here for five years. Most weekends they leave her in bed for 1 or 2 full days and don't inform her on why. Every patient is wheelchair-bound. They have allowed the patients to sit in urine for hours, some of the nurses have poor attitudes, place is often loud with staff speaking loudly and alarms going ignored for long periods of time. At times, there's a lack of empathy and inhumane treatment. Seems to depend on the staff. Weekends are noticeably worse. I tried to not write a negative review because I know how hard the job can be but this has gone on for half a decade. Also, I have no control over the situation as I'm not her POA. Her POA knows and doesn't seem to care. UPDATE: The situation has seemed to partially improve since I wrote this review. I will update again if that changes, I'm keeping this up so it doesn't.
Not satisfied with the assistant administrator, Dale. Seems like he wants to take whatever little happiness these people have away. Edit to add. This place is filthy and also doesn't care about the people who live there that make this Inglis House. They feed these people slop, sometimes the same slop multiple times a week. Would love to know who is cutting corners. Don't send your loved ones here.
I know nothing about this place other than the piece I just saw on 6abc news. If the Wheelz band represents what they will do for the residents, then they get 5 stars from me. You can see the joy that the band brings to those residents...bought me to tears!!
Currently trying to schedule a patient for an appointment at this facility. Not only was I placed on hold over 20 times, noone EVER picked up and I was unable to leave a message. Poor customer service and poor moral amongst the staff. SOMEONE shouldve picked up. Karen Voegele, and Cheryl Whitfield you both should be terminated along with your unprofessional staff who cant even have the courtesy to do their job. Im on my 4th call and there's no voicemail noone picks up jus hangs up after the phone rings a large number of times. This is appalling.
