My dad is here because of amputation and his food went missing the next day after we naught him the food and put it in the freezer. THE BAG HAD HIS NAME ON IT. I do not appreciate them doing this. It’s bad enough I cry every time I see him in this state, but to find out his food is being taken is horrible. The staff is kind tho!
My Mother stayed here for 9 months after a brain injury. Having come from the ICU at Pomona Valley Hospital where my Mom had her own personal nurse and was watched around the clock, I was very weary of her being transferred. Upon arrival at Country Oaks we were greeted by literally everyone in the facility and immediately felt safe. When it came to my Mom it was all hands on deck, no exaggeration. Everyone and I mean everyone went above and beyond for my Mom and my family. We celebrated holidays and birthdays there and Yesenia, as well as the activities staff went out of their way to make us feel like we were at home. I also called multiple times a day to check on my Mom, to the point where Sister Maria knew the sound of my voice but stayed patient with me as I worried. I will never forget each staff member and my Mom’s CNA’S and nurses. I was sad when my Mom got transferred to another facility but so thankful for her time at Country Oaks. I’m positive she wouldn’t be where she’s at in her recovery without all of them!
The staff is so nice and hospitable. They tend to your every need. As a patient i consider them family in a sense.
Yessenia, where do I start. Thank you for everything you did for my father. I know at times he could be persistent and demands attention immediately but you never put him aside you put your work aside to see what Rudy needed. I’ve never had someone who wasn’t family to give him that attention. You always knew what to do to calm him down and make him feel happy till my mother arrived. Simple things like going to his room to get him for bingo, arts an crafts etc. putting money out of your pocket to make sure ALL patients enjoy their activity time (not many people do that) and holidays. Even had singing time because my dad loved to sing. I will forever be grateful to you and a lot of employees that work there. Keep being you because it doesn’t go unnoticed.
My grandmother was recovering at this hospital for a couple of months and whenever I’d visit there was this care taker she always kept talking to me about. How great and friendly she was and how she looked forward to getting to spend some time with her and the conversations they’d have, Elisabeth is the one I want to thank she brought the menu options for the day. The Dietary department; always providing great service and food, bringing a smile to the people I love, thank you.
